BUT IT’S ALMOST DONE!!

We reported yesterday that Bloomsbury was “counting on a new Rowling three-book set” in order to help boost their sales profits and volumes. We asked you to let us know what you thought this might lead to, and you provided some great responses.
However, it is now known that Bloomsbury will be releasing the supplemental works, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard as one complete box-set.
I was worried that it would be these. but Bloomsbury, we already freaking have these so….i don’t really know how re-releasing them is going to boost profits significantly. but what do i know?
I have all of these but The Tales of Bettle and Bard!!! I NEED IT!

Hmm interesting, I did not know that lol

The first “battle” for Texas independence was the Battle of Gonzales.
I put quotations around the word battle because it was really only a small skirmish.
The Mexican government had given a Texas fort a small canon. When tensions and rebellion rose they asked for it back.
“Come and take it,” was the reply.
Much to the embarassment of the Mexican forces, they didn’t get the canon back.
The Texan rebels made this flag with the image of a canon and a black star.
The phrase “come and take it” still conjures a sense of Texas pride and badassery.
I love my state. And I love being a history major.
